About the Board

The Board of Assessors is a 5 member, elected Board, which is responsible for estimating the fair market value of all real property in Weston. The Assessors' Office maintains property information and the current assessment of all real property in Weston. All property valuation records are public documents; summary information is available on this website and the full records can be obtained at the Assessors' Office.

The Massachusetts Department of Revenue mandates that every town fully update its property assessments each year to reflect the current fair market value. The updated property assessments are submitted to the DOR each year for its review and approval before Weston’s tax rate can be set by the town’s Board of Selectmen. Every 5 years the DOR audits the town’s records and procedures for certification. The DOR’s last certification of the town’s assessments and procedures was for FY 2015.

The Assessors' Office is located in the Town Hall and is open from Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
