Town Meeting is the legislative body of Weston Town Government where all spending and changes to the Town By-laws and Zoning By-laws must be approved by Weston voters in attendance.
Notice of Town Meeting is given by posting the Warrant on the Town's website, at Town Hall, and in other public places in Weston as determined by the Selectmen. In addition, the Warrant is mailed to every household at least seven days before Annual Town Meeting in May and at least 14 days before any Special Town Meeting.
All registered voters may participate in and request permission to speak at Town Meeting. The elected Town Moderator, who presides over Town Meeting, is empowered to recognize others to speak as well. Only registered voters may vote.
