Regis College will convene experts to speak on health care reform at the first of two spring forums. The forum, “Improving Health Care Quality through Innovation and Health Reform,” will feature a discussion on the issues of health care costs and quality as well as how health care reform is working in Massachusetts overall. The panel, moderated by Regis President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN, includes: David Seltz, executive director of the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission; Jeanette Clough, president and executive officer at Mt. Auburn Hospital; Karen M. Smith, MCRP, chief executive officer at Massachusetts Quality Partners; and Jayne Rogers, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CPHQ, nursing director at Boston Children's Hospital. The Regis President’s Lecture Series on Health is co-sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. The lectures are designed to challenge the community to develop new skills around contemporary health and wellness issues and learn to effect positive change.
