104 Stony Brook LLC: 150 rental units on 2.1 acres

This proposed project by Berardi Properties and Layline Ventures LLC was reviewed by the Zoning Board of Appeals through the comprehensive permit public hearing process. The proposed project seeks to construct 150 rental units on 2.1 acres of land. The developer received site approval from MassHousing in February 2017 for a five-story building over a 2-story below-grade parking garage with 80 1-bedroom units, 55 2-bedroom units, and 15 3-bedroom units.  The existing historical Sibley House was proposed to be removed.

The Zoning Board of Appeals issued its final decision on this proposal on Oct. 23, 2017 and denied the permit for environmental and safety reasons. The decision is currently being appealed (as of 2019).
