The Director of Municipal Information Systems works jointly with the School Department’s Director of Technology and Libraries to ensure Town wide efficiencies and best practices in the delivery and storage of information.
The role of Information Systems is to:
Provide training and technical support to town offices
Streamline the collection, flow and retrieval of information
Support all General Government departments in using technology to improve productivity
This office also supports the School Department Administration in the use of the Town’s financial management applications (MUNIS) and by maintaining the town-wide network.
