 The Town Clerk’s Office is pleased to announce that the State is providing an Accessible Electronic Remote Voting System for all Elections.  

The Accessible Vote by Mail System (AVBM) uses the Omni Ballot Platform from Democracy Live and is compatible with screen readers, allowing voters who are blind, have low vision or dexterity disabilities to participate in vote-by-mail and absentee voting programs privately and independently.   

AVBM is available only for certain, qualified voters.  If you are blind or have a vision impairment, or have a mobility or dexterity disability that makes it difficult for you to mark a paper ballot, you can request an AVBM ballot.   AVBM allows you to use a type-written signature if you are not able to independently sign your application by hand.
