Open Meetings
A meeting of a board occurs any time a quorum of board members meet to discuss or consider any public business or policy over which the board has some jurisdiction or advisory authority.

Public Hearings
Public Hearings provide an opportunity for residents or other concerned individuals to present comment or testimony to a committee or board before a decision on a particular topic is made.

Executive Sessions
Executive session may be called for a very limited set of circumstances, including discussions of disciplinary action or collective bargaining.

Public Information
These types of meetings tend to be more informal and are held as a courtesy to residents so boards and committees can share information on a project and to allow for an open exchange of resident questions and feedback.

Town Meeting
Town Meeting is the legislative body of Weston Town Government and is wholly dependent upon citizen participation. It is considered the purest form of democracy because every registered voter has a voice in the discussion and votes.
