The Department of Homeland Security has extended the REAL ID full enforcement date to May 3, 2023. Learn the new federal and state requirements for renewing a driver’s license or ID card, the difference between the “standard” and “REAL” driver’s licenses and ID cards to decide which is right for you, and how to renew your license or ID card.
