The Music Committee and the Friends of the Library are pleased to welcome the ensemble ArtiQue. The group will present 2 of Brahms' Quintets: the Piano Quintet Op. 34, and the Clarinet Quintet Op. 115. The first of these is from Brahms' early period, and the second from his late period, so we will have the benefit of being a part of his development as a composer. ArtiQue was founded in 2016 in Seoul by soprano Eun young Park, who is the director of the group which performs a variety of musical genres. The concert will run one hour, without intermission, and with only a short break between the pieces to re-arrange the seating for the instrumentalists.
