Philatelic Bazaar at the Spellman

Saturday, March 7, 2020

The annual Philatelic Bazaar event is considered New England’s biggest stamp recycling program. It also a way for non-collectors and children to obtain inexpensive stamps to start a collection, as well as tips on collecting. On sale will be all types of philatelic material including full collections, country lots, first day covers, post cards, stamp supplies, albums, and job lots. One room of the Museum will feature philatelic literature including handbooks, journals and catalogs from around the world. Joe Mullin, the Museum's Executive Director, stated that "This Bazaar was first held over 20 years ago and has been building on its initial success ever since!" Henry Lukas, the Museum’s Education Director, indicated that “all proceeds from the Bazaar will go to support the educational programs and activities of the Museum.”
