The Benefits of Arts and Creativity
Tuesday, August 4, 2020
Many individuals with creative aspirations wait until their later years to pursue their craft. For others, artistic inspiration comes unexpectedly when free time becomes more available after retirement. Research tells us that engagement with the arts and creativity can enhance well-being, build community, and even protect
the brain. This session, led by William James College Clinical Doctoral students and Dr. Katherine King, will cover some of the latest research findings, engage you in some creative activities, and suggest ways to bring more art and creativity into your own life. This presentation is hosted by the Weston COA- All are welcome! Contact the COA to register for Zoom link.
