Oh, those magical pockets of dough! Found in any country of the world, dumplings can be sweet or savory -- filled with meat or vegetables -- and their shapes are endless! Come explore dumpling favorites from around the globe with Roberta Hing. Participants will create the Latin American and Spanish favorite, Empanadas - the flakiest crust wrapped around a savory meat filling. Next, move on to the pride of Poland, Pierogi – dumplings filled with potato, caramelized onions and mushrooms. The class rounds out with the Salvadoran street food—Pupusas. These crispy, cheese filled dumplings made with masa dough are the
perfect portable snack.
