Volunteer, Weston!


Board of Selectmen Appointed Position

For the following Selectmen-appointed position, please submit a volunteer application or a letter of interest. The application can be filled out and submitted online or it can be downloaded and emailed to Letters of interest can also be emailed or mailed to the Board of Selectmen, Weston Town Hall, PO Box 378. Click on the name of the committee to learn more about its charge and skills that are being sought.

Moderator Appointed Position

The Weston Town Moderator is looking for residents to serve on the 2019 Memorial Day Committee.  This committee is appointed by the Moderator to plan, implement and oversee Weston's Memorial Day activities.  Traditionally, this has included the convocation at Town Hall, a parade, and wreath-laying ceremonies in the Town cemeteries to remember those who died in battle. Interest from all Weston residents is greatly appreciated and involvement from school parents, Weston Scouts, and Veterans are encouraged. Animal Control/Conservation Volunteer Position

The Town of Weston is actively seeking volunteers to assist the Conservation and Animal Control departments in spreading awareness of the Town's rules and regulations for dogs and dog owners.  

  • Bark Ranger - respond in time to attend the March 25th training

Elected Positions

Take out nomination papers, collect 50 signatures of your closest friends (who are registered to vote in Weston, of course) and submit them to the Town Clerk on March 18th in order to have your name appear on the Town Election Ballot.

The Town is in need of candidates to run for one of the two open positions on the Commissioners of Trust Funds. If you come from a financial management background, this may be of interest to you. The Commission only meets four times a year.
