Election Day Poll Workers Needed

The Weston Town Clerk is seeking residents 18+ to help the community by working in the upcoming elections. A variety of shifts are available and this is a paid position. Without election workers, our elections cannot happen. If interested, contact Deborah Davenport at 781-786-5015 or davenport.d@westonmass.org


Election workers are responsible for:

  • checking in registered voters
  • answering general questions
  • checking out the voters after the ballot has been submitted

Requirements for being an election worker:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be registered to vote (deadline to register is Feb. 12th)
  • Is not running as a candidate in the election

The Benefits of being an election worker:

  • It’s a paid position
  • Add experience to resumes and college applications
  • Get an up-close view to the election and voting process

The upcoming elections are:

  • March 3rd (Presidential Primary)
  • September 1st (State Primary)
  • November 3rd (State Election)

There are two polling locations in Weston:

  • Town Hall (precincts 1 & 2)
  • St. Demetrios Church on Brown St. (precincts 3 & 4)
