Recreation Programming update
Spring Programs cancelled
Given the ongoing social-distancing/isolation strategies surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Recreation Department has cancelled all Spring programming. Anybody who has been registered for programming that starts prior to June 1 will receive a full refund.
Processing will begin next week; most people who registered through our online portal will have refunds automatically applied to their credit cards. For those who paid by check or registered in person, we will begin processing as soon as our staff is permitted to safely return to our offices. We can't say for certain when that will be yet, please be receptive to a phone call or email from one of our staff to help process this.
We are continuing to monitor the situation and are hopeful that it improves enough to safely offer an abbreviated spring season; we will make the appropriate announcements if that comes to fruition. For now, please visit our Facebook page for daily links to recreational activities that can be done at home.
Spring Egg Hunt cancelled
Among other things, this means the Spring Egg Hunt, scheduled for Saturday, April 11, is cancelled as well. The Spring Bunny is disappointed to miss seeing all of the children and sends their best from a safe social distance.
