February ReflectionsWe were able to pack a lot into the short month, with a full calendar of in-person and Zoom programs. Some of the highlights were: The Weston Community League hosted a fabulous party for us the Friday before Valentine's Day, and on the holiday itself, we handed out locally made gourmet cupcakes, which many folks brought to friends. Dr. Marc Wein presented on bone health and osteoporosis in, Building Better Bones; Local resident Paul Angiolillo presented on Public Art: It's History and Many Current Forms and Expressions;

We took a live walking tour of Pelourinho, Salvador, Brazil, focused on Black history in Bahia (our guide and local pictured right, during our tour) We travelled to Boston to see the Boston Symphony Orchestra's Open Rehearsal, seeing Israeli conductor Lahav Shani, make his Symphony Hall debut; Esteemed historian Richard Bell presented on the French Alliance and the Road to Yorktown. He will join us again on March 29 at the COA for America’s Birth Certificate. (Seating is extremely limited so register early.) Fan-favorite art appreciation presenter Jane Blair presented on Portraits. We began appointments for income tax assistance, which will continue into early April.
