No fines? What about late, lost, or damaged materials?
While traditional fines will not accrue, a replacement cost will be charged if an item is not returned within 28 days past the due date.
Patrons with charges for items exceeding the maximum amount set by MLN will have their account blocked until fees are paid but don't fret too much if this is you! Call us, and we will work with you to get your account back in good standing. The same goes for damaged items.
Weston Public Library cannot make policies governing materials belonging to other libraries, so this policy does not apply to Interlibrary Loans from other libraries, including those in the Minuteman Library Network. Sorry, folks.
All late fines from Weston items existing before the adoption of this policy will be waived. Lost/damaged item charges will remain. If fines kept you from using our library, we'd love to welcome you back.
Have you lost your library card?
Come get a new one- we don't charge to replace those anymore either.
