New Recreation Master Planning process kicks off Thursday
This Thursday, the Town of Weston will kick off its next Recreation Master Planning process. The last Master Plan was developed in 2005 and identified numerous ballfields that needed to be upgraded, added or enhanced in order to meet the recreational needs of the town. This plan was completed in 2015 and now its time re-evaluate what will be needed over the next ten-years.
This process will be headed up once again by the Recreation Master Plan Steering Committee (RMPSC) - also known as the Field Steering Committee. This time, analysis will be made on both indoor and outdoor facilities.
The kickoff meeting will take place on Thursday, November 29 at 7 PM at the Case House Large Conference Room, 89 Wellesley Street in Weston. Anybody with an interest in the availability and quality of current recreation facilities and/or the addition of new facilities is encouraged to attend. For more information, please click here.
