Local and Global Discussion Group Thursday November 14 1:15-3:00 In anticipation of Weston's town meeting on Dec. 3, the discussion will focus on current town issues: the Josiah Smith Tavern, status of 40Bs, parking and dog walking at Cat Rock, "pay as you throw" proposal at the Transfer Station and a Q&A session with a member of the Finance Committee. Town Manager Leon Gaumond will also attend to answer questions.

Strokes: Prevention and Signs Friday November 15 1:00PM-2:00 Stroke is the fifth leading cause of death in the US and is a major cause of serious disability. A group of providers from Mass General Hospital will provide a community stroke education presentation, which will include stroke risk factors, stmptoms, knowing the fastest way to get help, and learning about available treatment options.
Meditation Group weekly on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:00 The COA offers a 30-minute period of meditation every Wednesday morning where you can join others in a quiet seated personal meditation to quiet your mind of stressful thoughts.
