  1. WCCA & PTO: Cradles to Crayons Donation Drive

    April 5, 2018, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Various location bins

    Weston Community Children's Association (WCCA) and the PTO are organizing a donation drive to benefit Cradles to Crayons, a non-profit organization that helps to provide low-income and homeless children with essential items. The following new & gently used items in good condition are accepted:
    • Children’s clothing, shoes & winter boots (no rips or stains please)
    • Toys and board books
    • NEW children’s underwear, socks & pajamas
    • Baby gear (strollers, car seats less than 5 years old, bouncy seats)

    The drive ends April 6th

  2. Regis College: Resistance and Genocide Awareness Art Exhibit

    April 5, 2018, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Carney Gallery, Regis Fine Arts Center

    Regis College is hosting a semester-long "Diversity Walk" focused on themes of racism, women's issues and ethnic cleansing with art exhibitions featuring the works of famous and local artists, as well as artists from the Regis community. Additionally, the university will host discussions to promote dialog and understanding around each issue addressed in art on display.
    This third and final installation features artwork by Gordon Chase ( and Mike Stoddard ( and leads up to the film screening and discussion on April 25th.

  3. Land's Sake Annual Meeting

    Land’s Sake is a non-profit community farm located in Weston and dedicated to connecting people to the land. Land’s Sake runs sustainable land management, environmental education, and food donation programs. Learn more at our Annual Meeting, which is open to the public. The meeting will consist of brief business meeting and a talk by beekeeping expert Charlotte Trim; refreshments will be served. The business meeting will include a report from Land’s Sake’s Executive Director, Pam Hess, and the election of new board members. Speaker Charlotte Trim is an organic beekeeper who has been focused on bee health for the past 12 years. As an organic orchardist and soil consultant, Charlotte is also mindful of the bee's role as a pollinator and their impact on the immediate environment. Originally from Europe, Charlotte currently lives in Lincoln, Mass.
