  1. Medicinal Plant Walks at Land's Sake

    Join Land's Sake Education Manager and Herbalist Anna Booth Cohen for a walk of the local and cultivated medicinal plants at Land's Sake! There is an amazing variety of natural medicine growing all around us. This plant walk will feature a variety of medicinal plants in season, both cultivated and wild. Expect to meet different plants each season. This is a great opportunity to connect to our ecosystem in an inspiring, empowering way! Anna will discuss plant ID, common growing conditions, and the traditional medicinal use of each plant. Everyone from new beginners to seasoned herbalists are welcome. Open to all ages, youth under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

  1. Girls Who Code

    Girls Who Code, a national nonprofit working to close the gender gap in tech, seeks to reverse the decline by teaching 100,000 girls to code by the end of 2018. The Girls Who Code Club is a free after-school program for 6-12th grade girls to use computer science to impact their community. The Club will be hosted at the Weston Public Library with a group of 20 students and will be taught every Tuesday October through the end of May by industry professionals in computer science.
