Let’s all Spring clean for a good cause! Cradles to Crayons is a non-profit organization that helps to provide low-income and homeless children in the local Boston area with essential items they need to thrive - free of charge. We can accept the following new or gently used items in good condition:
Children’s clothing (no rips or stains please)
Children's shoes and winter boots
Toys and board books
New children’s underwear, socks and pajamas
Baby gear (strollers, car seats, pack-n-plays, swings, bouncy seats – must be less than 5 years old)
Please note - NO FURNITURE, NO CRIBS, NO RIDE-ON TOYS, NO STUFFED ANIMALS ACCEPTED

Ret. Belmont Animal Control Officer and member of Project Coyote, John Maguranis, will be in Weston to present "Living with Coyotes," an educational presentation about one of the most misunderstood animals in North America. The presentation will include natural behaviors, habits & diet, identification, pet & human safety, myths & facts, hazing, and origin & history.

This class provides cardio, stretching & strengthening in a non-threatening environment. Participants work on cardiopulmonary fitness, balance, improve joint range of motion and learn proper form for strength training of both upper and lower body. Exercises are done standing, but chairs are available if one needs to sit down during the class. It is appropriate for all levels of fitness.

A high energy class with dance moves to Latin and world music songs, while the instructor leads and breaks the moves down into smaller steps. Ability to step forward, backward and to each side is useful in this class, but all levels are welcome.

This class focuses on exercises and movements that tone muscles and improve the ability to perform everyday activities. The main emphasis is on core strengthening to improve balance, posture, coordination, stability, range of motion and flexibility. There is a combination of chair and standing exercises helps focus on different muscle groups, minimizing the possibility of repetitive movement injuries. Functional Fitness is open to all levels of fitness and includes use of dyna bands, light hand/leg weights & pilates rings, all of which are supplied.

This “slow flow” class is for anyone who can get up and down of a yoga mat. No previous experience is required and everyone moves at his or her own pace. Yoga poses increase strength, improve mobility and enhance balance. Mats and props provided.
