Join Land’s Sake Educators on the Farm for weekly activities including stories, picking and planting in the Education Garden, exploring the Chicken Coop and more! This is a free, drop-in program for young children and caregivers. Activities are geared for ages 2.5-7, but children of all ages are welcome to participate. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Weston Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the landing on the moon, a special exhibit featuring stamps about space exploration and the moon landing entitled “The Eagle Has Landed” opens Fri., July 19. On Saturday, Guest Speaker David Meerman Scott will give a free talk about his experiences with the Apollo space project. Scott is the co-author of "Marketing The Moon: The Selling of the Apollo Lunar Project" and also was a consulting producer to the PBS American Experience mini-series "Chasing the Moon." He will display and explain several artifacts from his collection including such items as command module, a LRL moon rock container, a lunar meteorite, and an Apollo 13 training star chart. Scott will also sign copies of his book and be available for questions. David Ball, NASA/JPL ambassador, will moderate the evening and will display some of his astrophilatelic philatelic material and space gear from both the Gemini and Apollo missions.
