    A blizzard is coming! Engineer a tree house to withstand high winds and save skiers from a wild mountain avalanche. With two exciting activities this hands-on workshop gives participants a chance to plan, build and test their designs against the forces of nature.

    This class is for people with some experience with Tai Chi. Tai Chi is a slow form Martial Art that is beneficial to your health: improve balance, joint flexibility, muscle tone, breathing and blood pressure while easing tension and stress. Jon teaches a variation of the Yang style – typically called “Cheng Man-Ch’ing” style.

With two exciting activities, this hands-on workshop with the Museum of Science Traveling Programs gives you a chance to plan, build, and test your designs against the forces of nature! Test your creations in our blizzard simulators and see if you or the skiers would survive... Space is limited! Sign up at the Youth Services Desk starts Monday, July 24th.
