Ankle strengthening will improve balance and stretching helps your posture. Learn how you can prevent falls; in the event of one you’ll learn techniques for managing trips and landings.

  5. Understanding and Managing Diabetes

    January 29, 2020, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM @ Weston Council on Aging Community Center Ground Floor

    Representatives from Newton-Wellesley Hospital Diabetes Management Clinic, Lawna Wigle, NP and Kimberly Sabada, RD, will provide an interactive overview of type 2 diabetes. Specific topics for discussion will include lifestyle modifications, medications, and nutrition support to help manage diabetes. This program is hosted by the Weston Council on Aging and is open to the community. You must contact the COA to sign up in advance. Please call by Monday 1/27.
