To the Weston Community: We invite you to participate in Weston High School’s 15th annual (COVID-adapted) Pumpkin Festival in support of Camp Sunshine, a camp for terminally ill children in Casco, Maine!
While this event has previously been run as an in-person festival on the Town Green, due to COVID-19 town and state-wide restrictions and safety concerns, Camp Sunshine has made the decision that all of their events this fall will be encompassed into a week-long virtual “Pumpkin Fest – The Great Pumpkin Run/Walk/Roll”
To be a part of this, you can walk, run, or bike a 5k, 10k, half-marathon, or a marathon (cumulative over the entire week). You can also win prizes for the distance you walk, run, or bike, and how much you fundraise!
October 20, 2020, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM @ Town Hall
October 20, 2020, 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Westgate Church
Donate blood safely at an American Red Cross Blood Drive. The short amount of time it takes to donate can mean a lifetime to a patient with a serious medical condition. We urge eligible donors to make an appointment to join us in the selfless act of giving blood.

T'ai Chi is an ancient form of slow Chinese exercise that enhances the flow of internal energy in the body. The practice helps improve balance, joint flexibility, and muscle tone, as well as promotes relaxation, healing, and well-being. As we practice and refine the form (the choreographed routine) we also explore deeper concepts and philosophies of T'ai Chi.
October 20, 2020, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
This program consists of a set of simplified movements from T'ai Chi that are easier to follow and learn than the Traditional T'ai Chi form. With simpler movements, we are able to focus more on the aspects of T'ai Chi that help improve and maintain balance.
