John Maguranis, of Project Coyote, is back in Weston and will be discussing the habits and behaviors, and dispel myths and misunderstandings, of our wild neighbors living among us. Learn how you can coexist with this misunderstood animal and develop an appreciation for it while keeping your family, your pets, and the coyotes safe. This special presentation is hosted by the Animal Control Officer.

This “slow flow” class is appropriate for anyone who can comfortably get up and down off a yoga mat. No previous yoga experience is required and everyone is encouraged to move at his or her own pace. Yoga poses can increase strength, improve mobility and enhance balance. Through poses or “asana,” yoga offers the opportunity to connect to the breath and cultivate inner focus and calm. Mats and props are available.

This class, for beginner to intermediate levels, is designed to improve balance, strength, cardiovascular and cognitive memory. Exercise routines are accompanied by lively music which makes for a fun, feel-good environment. Exercises will be modified to accommodate any physical limitations.

If you’re looking for a bigger physical and mental challenge, the advanced class may be the right fit for you! Previous participation in the beginner class or experience with line dancing is suggested to take this class.

Learn the beginner foot patterns and fundamental terminology to line dance! This low-impact form of dance is gentle on joints and beneficial for both body and mind (and it’s a lot of fun!)
