  1. Tai Chi-Traditional

    June 16, 2020, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

T'ai Chi is an ancient form of slow Chinese exercise that enhances the flow of internal energy in the body. The practice helps improve balance, joint flexibility, and muscle tone, as well as promotes relaxation, healing, and well-being. As we practice and refine the form (the choreographed routine) we also explore deeper concepts and philosophies of T'ai Chi.

  3. Chinese Cooking Class

    June 16, 2020, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Online

Join us in our virtual Zoom cooking class as we learn some of chef Roberta Hing’s favorites from her childhood. We’ll start with crispy Shrimp toast—a retro Chinese appetizer. Next we’ll make Chinese Chicken Lettuce Wraps—low carb, healthy-- a great summer dish. We’ll also make crunchy Sichuan string beans, a variation of a restaurant staple. Feel free to cook along with Roberta or simply watch and ask questions. Ingredient and recipe lists will be provided to participants in advance.
