    T'ai Chi is an ancient form of slow Chinese exercise that enhances the flow of internal energy in the body. The practice helps improve balance, joint flexibility, and muscle tone, as well as promotes relaxation, healing, and well-being. As we practice and refine the form (the choreographed routine) we also explore deeper concepts and philosophies of T'ai Chi.

  2. Tai Chi for Better Balance

    This program consists of a set of simplified movements from T'ai Chi that are easier to follow and learn than the Traditional T'ai Chi form. With simpler movements, we are able to focus more on the aspects of T'ai Chi that help improve and maintain balance.

    Ever wonder- what’s next? Join us to learn about the “encore stage of life” and how purposeful work (volunteer or paid) contributes to a meaningful life and healthy aging. In this program you will learn more deeply about your motivations, interests, unique skillsets, and roles that “fit” with organizations to help them for the greater good. You will also develop your own “Encore Target”- an elevator speech you can use when looking for opportunities that make a social impact and fulfill your purpose. Contact the COA to register.
