    Residents wanting to vote in person should understand that voting booths will be limited in number and they should anticipate longer wait times, including the possibility of waiting outside, due to required social distancing and other protective measures. If you want to avoid this situation but want to hand-deliver your ballot, you should request a vote by mail application and hand-deliver your ballot within the supplied envelope to the secure drop box outside Town Hall (next to the double glass doors).

  1. Yoga

    This “slow flow” class is appropriate for anyone who can comfortably get up and down off a yoga mat. No previous yoga experience is required and everyone is encouraged to move at his or her own pace. Yoga poses can increase strength, improve mobility and enhance balance. Through poses or “asana,” yoga offers the opportunity to connect to the breath and cultivate inner focus and calm. Mats and props are available.

  2. Rhythmic and Movement

    Do you like to dance? This is an opportunity to learn different dances as well as some movements just to get the body fully engaged. This program is a part of our 8-week Aging in Place series, presented by Regis College Occupational Therapy Masters students. You are welcome to participate in one or all programs in the series.

    This class, for beginner to intermediate levels, is designed to improve balance, strength, cardiovascular and cognitive memory. Exercise routines are accompanied by lively music which makes for a fun, feel-good environment. Exercises will be modified to accommodate any physical limitations.

    If you’re looking for a bigger physical and mental challenge, the advanced class may be the right fit for you! Previous participation in the beginner class or experience with line dancing is suggested to take this class.

    Learn the beginner foot patterns and fundamental terminology to line dance! This low-impact form of dance is gentle on joints and beneficial for both body and mind (and it’s a lot of fun!)

  6. Local and Global Discussion Group: Important Town Issues in Weston

    These meetings are open to all who are interested in a civil discussion of the issues with wide participation from a diverse group of people. If you have questions about specific programs or the group in general, contact Susan Wagner at susanwgnr@gmail.com or 508-733-8810. Important Town Issues in Weston Thursday, September 10, 1:15 This meeting will be led by town resident and activist Joel Angiolillo. The event has been planned as a preview to the busy fall political season, hopefully to include Town Meeting. Topics will include: 1) What can be done about the rising cost of trash? 2) Does Weston need to enhance its water and sewer infrastructure? 3) How should Weston balance protecting its open space and providing public access? Experts from town government, boards, and committees will introduce each topic before opening up the proceedings to a wider discussion.
