Weston Public Library: Meet Your Neighbors, A Weekly Social Hour

We hope that you will drop in to meet your neighbors! A weekly social hour Thursdays 7-8 PM, September 15th - November 3rd, in the Weston Public Library Reading Room. No registration is necessary. The Weston Public Library will provide a warm and welcoming gathering place and the pleasure of your company is the only requirement. Come alone or bring a friend and engage in conversation as you connect with others in our community.

Watercolor Prism Technique Workshop

In this single session watercolor workshop, we will develop a painting using the prism technique. This method gives a more contemporary look to representational watercolors. We will explore color value, color saturation, glazing and working with a limited palette. We will also try out methods to add patterns to your watercolors. Instructor Nan Rumpf was one of twenty artists chosen across the country to have a painting included in the Watercolor Artist magazine’s Best of 2021 in Watercolor. She currently teaches classes in Wellesley, Needham, Bedford and Newton. Demos and handouts will be provided by the instructor. A materials list will be sent to you upon registration. Cost: $30. Cancellation deadline: 9/26.
