If you’re looking for a bigger physical and mental challenge, the advanced class may be the right fit for you! Previous participation in the beginner class or experience with line dancing is suggested to take this class.

Local and Global Discussion Group: Weston & State Issues

Weston resident and volunteer Joel Angiolillo will lead our discussion on local issues, including 1) Recreation, in particular the Town Pool renovations and designing and building pickleball courts and 2) Education, notably special needs funding. Both topics will come up for vote at the September 13 Town Meeting. There is also the “Fair Share Amendment,” an initiative that will be on the state ballot this fall, which would change the Massachusetts Constitution to create a new surtax on income in excess of $1 million. These meetings are hosted in-person at the COA with an opportunity to join virtually on Zoom. Contact the COA at 781-786-6280 to register.
